Hi, I'm Yoko! I'm a geek lifestyle blogger who enjoys creating content to share my favorite things. This blog started out as Yoko Eats Disney Treats, and while that definitely remains one of my favorite hobbies, I realized I needed a more expansive title so that I can share everything else I love! And thus, this transitioned into Livin La Vida Yoko.

 

In addition to adoring all things Star Wars, my other favorite fandoms include Disney, Marvel, 80s/90s nostalgia (Care Bears, She-Ra, Rainbow Brite, Sailor Moon, and of course the original My Little Pony), and Sanrio. I'm a sucker for cute animal videos and have seen Clueless, 10 Things I Hate About You, and That Thing You Do! more times than I can count.

 

I have a marketing degree from the University of Notre Dame and a masters in sports administration from Seattle University. I have had the opportunity to have several "dream jobs" working for the Seattle Mariners, Funko, FiGPiN, Super7, and now RockLove Jewelry. It's a privilege to have a career that allows me to immerse myself in my favorite fandoms and learn about new ones too.
